Project Impact
"Youth making their mark on their communities"
What is Project Impact?
- This program is geared towards building POWER's organizational capacity in serving youth within Washtenaw County. The primary focus of this project will be youth leadership and program development within the City of Ypsilanti.
- The project is made up of youth from grades 9th thru 12th from various High Schools and backgrounds within Washtenaw County. This is a three year project that will allow the youth on the committee to learn and develop leadership skills while being empowered to think of ways to address some of the issues that plague our teens in the City of Ypsilanti.
- The committee has chosen to focus on Middle school age youth and the many issues that they face today and to develop ways to empower them to take on a leadership role within their schools and respective communities.
