Wrap Around Program
This service, funded by the Department of Human services, identifies
family strengths and potential sources of support in situations
where children are at risk of being removed from home. Competent,
sensitive staff members, coordinate creative problem solving process
with the family and their identified support networks to develop
a plan to reduce or eliminate the risk of removal. The Wrap Around
Community Team provides additional support. Community Team members
consist of a parent representative, and representatives from Department
of Human Services, Community Support and Treatment Services (CSTS),
Washtenaw Family Court, Washtenaw Intermediate School District,
Department of Public Health, the Washtenaw County Community Collaborative,
and the Student Advocacy center.
